The principal focus of the Department of Spatial Design (founded in 2016) is the intersection between the conceptual, the theoretical and the experimental, with a pragmatic approach to the creation of the architectural space and their reflection in the training of future graduates.
The principal work of the department is the teaching of the creation of the architectural space and its forms and the teaching of architectural detail and lighting. In connection with studio instruction, it also teaches intellectual concepts in the creation of the architectural space and its topology.
In the design of the architectural space, the department focuses on interior creation and practical, essential and inclusive design combined with support for the unique artistic expression of the architect, taking in monumental sacral spatial design and the teaching of architectural space in photography and scenography.
