The department focuses largely on studio work – the search for a concept and sources of inspiration and the practical verification of theoretical knowledge in its own design work. Teaching is conducted in the form of studio instruction, with lectures on special areas of typology, seminars and practical forms of workshops to meet current needs. The department offers bachelor and master’s study programmes. The profile of the department is comprised of specialisations in housing construction and civic works. The guarantee of these specialisations and consultancy and advisory work is anticipated. The department also performs creative, scientific and research work for the faculty.
