Give blood, give life. Come to the Give Blood Festival in Brno
The Faculty of Architecture at BUT supports
initiatives that combine social responsibility, public space, and active
citizenship. One such initiative is this year’s “Donate Blood Brno” Festival,
which will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at
Moravské náměstí near the statue of Jošt.
The goal of the event is not only to reach new blood donors but also to
raise public awareness of the importance of donation—a simple gesture that can
save lives every day.
A varied program awaits visitors:
- presentations by clinics and departments of FN Brno,
- blood type screening,
- practical information about blood donation,
- a cultural program,
- and offerings from local restaurants.
The festival builds on the success of its first year and once again opens
up a public space for gathering, education, and solidarity.
Join us—come learn more, support a good cause, or become a donor yourself.
There is no substitute for donated blood.
