In the fall of 2024, the Faculty of Architecture is opening an Autumn Course in Architectural Perspective Drawing a Preparatory courses for talent tests

 

Autumn architectural perspective drawing course - WS 2024/2025

Come and expand your skills on a course for the public, focused on the basics of architectural drawing and architectural vision at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology in Brno.


The course is recommended for those interested in studying architecture. Drawing proficiency is not required.


The course consists of 18 hours divided into 3 sessions of 6 hours each, which will take place every 14 days on Saturdays on the following dates:


  • 9. 11. / 23. 11. / 7. 12. 2024


In lessons that will take place in the drawing studio at the FA VUT Imaging Institute, you will get to know the basics of perspective - interpretation, perspective exercises, basics of drawing technique, composition. One evening will include a lecture by Ing. architect Jan Kratochvíl.


Recommended tools and equipment:

  • Pencils of different hardness, crayons, eraser. It is also possible to use markers or pen and ink. Paper will be available. Drawing takes place while standing at the easel.


Registration conditions and course prices:

  • Total scope of the course: 18 hours 
  • Date of event: 9.11., 23. 11. and  7. 12.  2024, each from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., break/lunch, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Venue: Faculty of Architecture, Poříčí 5, Brno, 63900 / drawing room, building B
  • Number of course participants: 20, minimum number of participants is 5.


Course price: 

  • 5 844 CZK - public
  • 4 383 CZK - students BUT and employees of BUT

In case of absence, the course fee cannot be refunded. A missed lesson can be replaced by a one-time preparatory course for the talent test.

Preparatory courses for talent exams - WS 2024 / 2025


Come and expand your skills on an intensive one-day course that will help you prepare for the talent exams at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology in Brno. The course is led by the staff of the Department of Visualization FA BUT Academic Milada Gabrielová and MgA. Jan Šebánek Ph.D.


You can choose from several 3-hour tours: 8. 11. / 15. 11. / 22. 11. / 29. 11. / 6. 12. 2024


The course always takes place from 17:00 to 20:00.
