Opening of the exhibition RES URBANAE: Cities under (re)construction at the FA BUT
We cordially invite you to the exceptional exhibition RES URBANAE: Cities under (re)construction, which will open on April 2nd at 17:00 at the Faculty of Architecture at VUT.
The exhibition concludes a three-year project supported by the Creative Europe program of the European Union. Three renowned universities participated in this project - UBO Brest, TU Dresden, and VUT Brno - with prof. Zemánková, doc. Boháč, and Mgr. Havlová as the project leaders.
This traveling exhibition documents the urban, architectural, and functional transformations of the cities of Brest, Dresden, and Brno, which were affected by wartime conflicts in the past. Through four basic sections, visitors will be introduced to the stages of recovery and transformations of these cities from the end of World War II to the present.
The exhibition opening will take place on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 17:00 in the 2nd floor, followed by a short presentation of the exhibition, accompanied by light refreshments and a symbolic toast on the 3rd floor. The exhibition will then be open at the faculty premises until the end of April.
Do not miss the additional part of the exhibition in the Alfa Passage, focused on Brno and its industrial architecture, which will be opened on Wednesday, April 3rd, in the afternoon and will last until mid-month.
Come to explore how cities transform and learn from their history and current development. We look forward to your participation!
