Litovelská VéDePka has come to life!
The building of the former town brewery in Litovel
has been decaying for decades, so students from the Faculty of Architecture BUT
and the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague tried to propose projects that
would bring to the town the missing low-threshold culture not only for young
people. A new community center, a brewery restaurant or a museum - all these
are among the proposals that try to prevent part of the young generation from
leaving the town for entertainment or life elsewhere.
The exhibition can be seen in the premises of the
brewery until 1.12. 2023. The vision for Litovel was presented at the end of
September in the form of large-format panels, but does not end with the
exhibition. The initiative of young architects led locals to establish the
platform www.vedepkazije.cz, where you can find an overview of planned events as
well as the opportunity to participate in the search for a new form of the
city.
