Call for Applications for Financial Support for Talented PhD Students FA
Challenge Theme:
Financial support will be awarded to selected actively studying doctoral students of FA BUT in Brno:
for a professional scientific article:
– published in 2022,
– or documented by a letter from the editors of a professional scientific journal with a promise to publish in 2023 (the letter is proof of successful completion of the review process)
- in a professional scientific journal indexed in the Web of Science, or in the Scopus database, in a peer-reviewed professional journal,
– published as an article in a collection collected in the WOS or Scopus database,
– possibly for a technical book reported with the flag B, or a chapter in a technical book reported with the flag C

Application Guidelines:
Requests for support, on the completed application form, can be submitted by doctoral students
until November 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Applications sent by e-mail in electronic form with the applicant's signature will be accepted by the study department officer of the Faculty of Architecture of the BUT in Brno (jandoval@vutbr.cz )
The amount of the extraordinary scholarship will be determined based on a compiled ranking of the highest-ranked publications with the highest impact, scientific, international and societal contribution.
The selection of the applications that will be awarded financial support will be made by the DSP Board at its meeting at the end of 2022.
Project: IRP 2022 - Supporting talented doctoral students
Goal: the faculty will select one or several talented PhD students and support them
Selection criteria: for the extraordinary performance of specific doctoral students
Decisions on awarding an extraordinary scholarship from this project will be issued to selected students by the end of 2022. The condition is that the doctoral student is actively studying at the time of awarding the scholarship.
