The course will be led by the staff of the Institute of Imaging, FA BUT and is suitable for all interested parties, especially recommended for those interested in studying architecture. In the lessons that will take place in the drawing studio of the Faculty of Architecture, you will get acquainted with the basics of perspective - interpretation, perspective etudes, basics of drawing technique, composition. In lessons that will take place outside the faculty, in the open air, you will practice observing and drawing perspectives in real conditions.

A weekly course for the public, focused on the basics of architectural drawing and architectural vision.

One lesson will be devoted to a walk with an explanation focused on architectural phenomena, styles and the real situation that can be observed in the streets of Brno. Brno is a very interesting city from an architectural point of view, it is famous for its modernist buildings and also for its unique urban situation, which mixes historical and modern urban development with enclaves of rural and charming parks.
Recommended aids and equipment: pencils of various hardnesses, crayons, eraser. It is also possible to use markers or pen and ink, watercolors and brushes. For drawing outside a board or pad made of hard paper (cardboard) - min. A3, ideally A2. Paper will be available. Wearing comfortable shoes and clothes, something against the sun - hat, cap, or umbrella. Who has, a folding chair, who does not, will find a bench.
