Call for applications for financial support from talented students for doctoral students of FA BUT

Call topic:
Financial support will be granted to selected actively studying doctoral students of FA BUT:

for a professional article:
  • published in 2021,
  • or documented by a letter from the editors of the journal with the promise of publication in 2022 (the letter is proof of the successful completion of the review procedure)
  • in a periodical indexed in WOS, or in SCOPUS, or in an international peer-reviewed professional journal indexed in the ERIH + database
Important dates:
The competition period begins: April 26, 2021
The competition deadline for submitting the application ends: 30 November 2021 until 12:00
Announcement of the results of the competition, award of an extraordinary scholarship: December 2021

Instructions for applications:
Applications for support, on the completed application form, can be submitted by doctoral students until 30 November 2021 until 12:00. Applications sent by e-mail in electronic form with the applicant's signature will be accepted by Lucie Jandová, DiS., Study Department Officer, Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology, jandoval@fa.vutbr.cz

The amount of the reward will be determined on the basis of the ranked highest ranked publications with the highest impact, scientific, international and social benefits. The selection of applications for which financial support will be granted will be made by the DSP Branch Council at its meeting at the end of 2021.

Project: IRP 2021 - Support for talented doctoral students

Guarantor: pror. Miroslav Doupovec

Objective: the faculty selects one or more talented doctoral students and supports them
Selection criteria: for extraordinary performances of specific doctoral students

Decisions to award an extraordinary scholarship from this project will be issued to selected students by the end of 2021.
The condition is the active study of the doctoral student at the time of awarding the scholarship.

Basic financial data:
Allocation of the call 50 ths. CZK Maximum amount of aid per application: 50 thousand CZK
