9. mezinárodní konference oboru architektura a urbanismus se uskuteční 4. listopadu 2020 na Fakultě architektury Vysokého učení technického v Brně virtuální formou. Mezinárodní konference bude setkáním studentů doktorského studia, uspořádaným za účelem vzájemné výměny zkušeností a poznatků mezi výzkumnými pracovišti a mladými výzkumníky. Virtuální konferenci bude doprovázet v době 2.–8. listopadu 2020 on-line výstava konferenčních posterů. Doktorandi ve dvou tematických okruzích architektura a urbanismus, budou prezentovat dosavadní výsledky svého výzkumu se zaměřením na tematický rozsah konference. Letošní 9. ročník konference naváže na předchozí ročníky pořádané v letech 2011, 2014 a 2017 na FA ČVUT v Praze, v letech 2012 a 2015 na FA STU v Bratislavě a v letech 2013, 2016 a 2019 na FA VUT v Brně.Mezinárodní konferenci v roce 2019 uvedl přednáškou profesor Timothy Brown z Clemson University. V roce 2020 bude úvodním přednášejícím pan profesor Christopher De Sousa z Ryerson Univerzity v Kanadě.
The international conference will be organized for doctoral students in order to exchange experience and knowledge between research institutes and young researchers during the meeting. The conference will be organized virtually on 4th November 2020 by the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology (FA BUT), Czech Republic. The students will present during one day the results of their research focused on the thematic scope of the conference in two areas of architecture and urban design. This year’s 9th annual conference is a follow up on previous conferences held in Prague in 2011, 2014 and 2017 in Bratislava in 2012 and 2015 and in Brno in 2013, 2016 and 2019.
The international conference in 2019 was introduced by a keynote lecture by Professor Timothy Brown from Clemson University (former vice-dean of IIT Chicago). In 2020 the keynote speaker will be Professor Christopher De Sousa of Ryerson University, Canada.
